Greg Davies named among an esteemed panel of judges.

Custom Fluidpower is proud to announce Greg Davies from the Brisbane branch has been selected in the judging panel for the “50 Years in the Field” Photo Contest. The group of judges bring together a wealth of international expertise in hydraulics and fluid power with a combined experience of over 230 years in the industry.

Greg has been part of the Sun Hydraulic family for 15 years and has had 43 years in the fluid power industry.

‘Having had the opportunity to work with Sun Hydraulics – as a distributor and part of the Sun Hydraulics (Helios Technologies) group of companies – what I enjoy most can be put very simply… it is the great people I work with. It has been an absolute pleasure to develop relationships all around the world with Sun staff at various international locations.’ Greg said when we asked him what he liked most about his time in fluid power.

The photo contest commemorates 50 years in business for Sun Hydraulics. They are inviting entries from across the globe to participate by sending photos that exemplify 50 years of Sun technology in the field.

There are two contest categories:

• Timeless Technology – Photo of the oldest Sun valve in use in the field today.
• Amazing Applications – Photo that captures Sun products in a unique, demanding, or interesting application in the field.

The grand prize winner in each category will receive an iPad (Apple iPad 10.2″ retina display).
