Last week Custom Fluidpower had a visit from Jason Morgan, President of Cartridge Valve Technology (CVT), a division of Helios Technologies. Custom Fluidpower is a major part of the APAC region under CVT control.
As travel becomes opens to international visitors, companies are now able to catch up with their teams in locations across the globe. Mr Morgan flew from Sarasota, Florida into Sydney last week and headed to Newcastle where he was able to have a tour of the CFP facility in Newcastle and get an understanding of the capabilities that the business has to offer.
Interstate branch managers flew in from Mackay, Brisbane, and Perth to meet with Mr Morgan, discuss the strategic direction of the business, and showcase the diverse range of projects that are happening. Some notable success stories include a portable hydraulic equipment testing unit housed in a shipping container at the Perth branch, and several ship-loader systems designed by Mackay that are being built in Perth to be transported by boat around the country and installed at Hay Point Coal Terminal. The Mackay branch will then complete the final installation and commissioning.
Mr Morgan had the chance to enjoy an Aussie BBQ and chat to the National and Carrington team about who Helios are and what they stand for. He was proud to share the companies’ values and how important the history of the business is fifty years after inception.
