Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

We are strong supporters of the Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea here at Custom Fluidpower. Yesterday we hosted morning teas in our branches to raise vital funds to bring us closer to a cancer free future.

1 in 2 Australians are diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, and with a large workforce all over Australia, we want to do what we can to help change that.

The Newcastle team were lucky enough to have Claudia Tolhurst, Executive Officer at Hunter Melanoma Foundation come and chat to them and share some important statistics and education around Melanoma and how we can avoid harmful UV rays. Claudia brought her UV camera along and gave the team a chance to have their skin photographed and see how their skin looks under UV light as well as highlighting the need to #checkandprotect your skin.

CFP are proud to share that they raised close to $3000 for the Cancer Council.
