HMA Award Finalist 2021

Custom Fluidpower has once again been announced as a finalist in the Hunter Manufacturing Awards among 23 manufacturers in 13 categories.

This year the theme of the awards is MADE FOR THE FUTURE as the awards promote local manufacturers to inspire and encourage vibrant and enduring manufacturing in our region.

Working with Radco Technologies, a Mitchell Services Limited entity, Custom Fluidpower has been nominated in the collaboration category after successfully designing a hydraulic system for their current drilling project.

Branch Manager of Custom Fluidpower at Carrington, Ian Sherwood said he is proud to be working with Mitchell Services and the project is a credit to all involved.

Ian said that COVID-19 has made things difficult for many over the last eighteen months and has highlighted the importance of all that Custom Fluidpower stands for.

“Working with Mitchell Services on a complex project like the CX-1500 has allowed Custom Fluidpower to provide hydraulic solutions that are critical for the drill. Mitchell Services engaged us as we are the only company in Australia that has the knowledge of the type of system they have designed,” Ian said.

“HMA is interested in seeing initiatives that have been identified, driven, and resolved within our region and together, Mitchell Services and Custom Fluidpower have achieved this,” he said.
