Sun Hydraulics cartridge valves screw into a manifold block and are controlled electronically, providing logic and automated functions. You can get them in a range of configurations such as on/off, proportional and pressure relief. They can be used in an industrial sense for directional, pressure, check and flow control. They are compact and can be used in hydraulic manifold systems.

Valve assemblies

Cartridge valves mounted in a manifold system provide a compact, integrated circuit for simplified machine design and reduced system costs.
A hydraulic manifold is a solid block most commonly made of mild steel, aluminium or ductile iron material, which distributes hydraulic oil through a circuit.

A manifold provides support to the valves, allowing the operator to control the fluid flow of the application. Check valves

Pilot operated check valves
Pilot operated check valves allows the flow in one direction and blocks it in the opposite direction until pilot pressure is applied
