The Custom Fluidpower tow hitch mounted rotating capstan system provides a safe and efficient way of hauling rope. The capstan assembly is mounted directly onto a 50mm tow hitch receiver and supplied with power via a compact diesel driven hydraulic unit. Flexible hoses with quick couplings supply oil to and from the capstan motor. The hydraulic power unit fits on the back of a dual cab utility vehicle. The compactness of the unit makes it ideal for port mooring job operations. A pivotlink allows the capstan to auto adjust the pull angle.
